PGS Film Society
The Prescot Grammar School Film Society began its life in 1967 and ran on into the Seventies. The stalwart staff members behind the society were John Corlett and Roy Taylor, who are seen here with A.N.Other taking entrance fees at the door.

Films were held in the relatively new Spencer Briggs Hall in St. Helens Road and was open to the girls of PGGS.

The night of the first ever Film Society, at the door of the Spencer Briggs Hall. Taken by Andy J Latham in Nov 1967.
