The Hancock Papers
A young teacher in York purchased a piano and its piano stool in a local auction. She found two PGS report books from the 1930's belonging to a J.R.Hawthorne.

She quickly contacted the Prescotian website after a search on Google. She sent the treasure to the editor post haste and a mystery was afoot!

Thanks to the help of St.Helens Star reporter, Ron Vose, the mystery of the report books has been solved ...

New to the Prescotian
Since the last newsletter of early December, 2011 we have gained nineteen new Prescotian contacts. This takes our numbers up to 2679. You can read all about them by clicking here and hopefully find a long lost friend!
The Pubnoshers

Prescot Grammar School Old Boys Luncheon Club [aka the Pubnoshers] will be holding their next quarterly luncheon on Wednesday, 12th. September and Wednesday 12th. December 2012. These will take place at the usual venue of Huyton and Prescot Golf Club. They meet at around 12.00 noon and finish about 3.30pm.
